Riccardo Raccis is born
in 1979 Florence, twelve days before the beginning of the 80's,
during the which keeps feeling like missing something. During the
the 90's learns to play saxophone, attends scientific high school,
jumps from Queen to Alice Cooper and discovers caffeine. More or
less during the same period begins to write systematically - the two
events are not necessarily related. In 1998 joins the Physics
Faculty of Florence. In 2004 publishes Il
Paradosso di Plazzi, launches RaccisWorld.com and
RaccisShop. In 2005 launches
RaccisForum,
RaccisBlog, Project Cain and
its own blog,
and the Navigazioni column on
Rolling
Stone Italia, which continues till 2006. In 2007 he gets his
Master's Degree in Physics, grabs a PhD fellowship at the Max Planck
Institute in Mainz, Germany, and moves home to Mainz. Listens to heavy metal
and 80's music. Administrates
the first
online Motörhead board. Doesn't play saxophone. Loves
technology. Drinks Red Bull, which contains a lot of caffeine, and
he's got a long, long list of things to write.
